Frequently Asked Questions from Our Guests

Please take a quick look at our FAQs. This way, we can focus more on your personal preferences during the briefing.

Do I need prior experience or specific physical requirements?

No prior experience is necessary. Your pilot will provide you with thorough instructions before every flight. The fitness requirements are minimal, but you should be able to take a few steps for the takeoff.

The maximum passenger weight is 90 kg, and the maximum height is 1.95 meters.
Children from 5 years of age can also fly. We use special harnesses designed specifically for kids.

Can you fly all year round?

Yes, we fly all year round as long as the conditions are suitable. If the weather is bad, the flight will be rescheduled or fully refunded.

How can I purchase a gift voucher?

We’ll send the gift voucher directly to your home. Please order it through our website.

You can pay via TWINT, a payment link we provide, or by PDF invoice. For urgent orders, we recommend paying through the payment link or TWINT – this way, the voucher should be in your mailbox the very next day. For last-minute gifts, we also offer delivery via email, so you can print the voucher yourself.

What clothing and equipment do I need?

Wear sturdy shoes, ideally ankle-high hiking boots, and a windproof jacket – it can get chilly in the air even during summer. Sunglasses are also recommended due to the wind speed (around 30 km/h).

In winter, we suggest adding warm thermal underwear. As storage space during the flight is limited, please only bring small, flexible backpacks of up to 10 liters.

How does my paragliding flight work?

Booking:
Please complete the booking form in full so that we have all the necessary information. You’ll receive the payment request promptly via email or text message.

Weather Coordination:
Since the flight is highly weather-dependent, we recommend providing three to four possible dates. We will confirm your reservation and inform you by the evening before the flight whether it can take place as planned.

Meeting Point:
We typically meet at the base station of the Rigi Cogwheel Railways in Goldau. In some cases, the meeting point might be at a different cable base station. If so, we’ll send you the exact location via a link.

In the Air:
Enjoy the flight and feel free to share your preferences with the pilot. If you’re up for it, we can include dynamic maneuvers for an extra adrenaline kick!

Landing:
After a smooth landing, you’ll have the option to purchase photos and videos of your experience.

Where are the landing sites located?

We usually land at the official landing sites in Goldau or Rickenbach SZ. Please avoid parking directly at the landing site and use the designated parking areas nearby.

In exceptional cases, the pilot may decide during the flight to approach a different landing site due to wind conditions for safety reasons.

Can I fly in groups?

Yes, you can fly together with friends, your family, or as part of a group! We are happy to organize group flights for you. Paragliding is also an excellent choice for a corporate event – an unforgettable experience that strengthens team spirit and fosters a sense of community.

To ensure we can schedule enough pilots, we kindly ask you to contact us well in advance.

Is a tandem paragliding flight safe?

Paragliding is not considered a high-risk sport. In Switzerland, it is conducted under strict safety regulations enforced by the Swiss Hang Gliding Federation (SHV) on behalf of the Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA).

All tandem pilots have extensive flight experience and have successfully passed the rigorous SHV examinations. Additionally, the equipment is regularly inspected by experts to ensure safety and functionality.

Do I need special insurance?

In Switzerland, paragliding is not classified as a dangerous sport. Therefore, the mandatory accident insurance provided by your Swiss employer is sufficient.

Additionally, every pilot is covered by liability insurance with coverage of up to CHF 5,000,000. If you are insured abroad, we recommend checking in advance whether your insurance provides appropriate coverage for paragliding.

How do I take off and land?

At takeoff, all you need is a short run, and you’ll be airborne.
Landing is even easier: simply lift your legs, and you’ll land gently and comfortably near the meeting point.

Take a moment to check out our instructions.

How can I order photos and videos?

The pilot takes photos (and videos upon request) in HD quality during the flight. After the flight, you can purchase them.

What happens in case of bad weather?

We only fly in optimal conditions – the final decision is always made by the pilot.

Sometimes, the weather may appear suitable for flying to the untrained eye, even though the wind is too strong. Conversely, apps may show unfavorable conditions, while the weather is actually ideal for flying. Our pilots are highly familiar with the microclimate of Central Switzerland and make decisions based on the specific situation. If the weather does not permit a flight, we will either offer you to reschedule to another date or provide a full refund.

Is there an age restriction?

Our flights are suitable for individuals aged 5 to 85 who feel healthy, fit, and confident about the flight :)
