For many years, I gained valuable experience as a paragliding instructor and developed a love for exploring the vastness of the sky and undertaking long-distance flights.

I take great joy in sharing my passion for flying with my passengers, guiding them through fascinating thermals and over breathtaking landscapes around Mount Rigi.

Fun is always the top priority, and with my calm and relaxed demeanor, I ensure that every flight is both safe and unforgettable. I strive to create a positive and comfortable atmosphere where everyone feels at ease and can fully enjoy the adventure of paragliding.

3 Questions for Urs

When did you start paragliding?

In 1991, I began my paragliding training and have been a certified pilot since 1992, spending a great deal of time in the air. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to gain flight experience in various countries around the world.

How did you get into tandem flying?

Originally, it was friends who kept asking me for tandem flights, wanting to experience the fascination of paragliding.

This enthusiasm and the growing number of requests eventually gave me the idea to offer flights commercially and share my passion with even more people. Over time, as a flight instructor, I delved deeper into the field and continuously expanded my knowledge and skills to provide my passengers with a safe and unforgettable experience.

What has been your most memorable experience while tandem flying?

This question is not so easy to answer with just one experience – there are simply so many unforgettable moments in the air. However, I especially enjoy flying with my family and my children. Since they are so light, we can often climb incredibly high – those are always special flights filled with joy and, of course, a little pride. ;)
